The Arcana Murders

Let the cards help decide your fate in this deck-building occult detective RPG adventure.

As one of the few survivors of the mysterious Tarotmancer initiative, you have the unique ability to use your cards to invoke hidden powers to pass (or fail!) skill checks that will lead you down a dark path as you search for your sister, abducted by a fully demonic organisation.

Your unique connection to the Tarot also allows you to form Pacts with the strange and dangerous New Arcana living in the city on the edges of society.

If you can find and convince them,  they'll lend you their powers — but always with their own (possibly murderous) agenda...

Instructions 

• Left click to choose your responses to challenges and conversations
• Pass skill tests by clicking and dragging cards from your hand to the marked areas
• High value cards are good when you have them, but playing the right KIND of card will increase your chances of success
• Refresh your cards by resting at your apartment
• Investigate scenes for clues by left-clicking on points of interest
• Try not to get murdered

This is a proof-of-concept prototype demo! 

With The Arcana Murders we've created a representative world, atmosphere and core concept which we believe could translate into a full game experience. 

However there are still mechanic questions to be further developed and refined, which we may seek to address for a future release.
